Review
I once thought all tummy time gyms were the same and didn’t understand why some were so expensive. Now I see why. A lot of thought went into the making of this quality product. The mat itself has lots of “activity” perks like different textures and squeaks. The three hanging toys it comes with all “do” something. One is a pleasant-sounding chime, one is a vibrating whale, and one is a light-up monkey that plays three mini songs–all of which are tolerable to this adult’s ears! The mirror and pillow are also great. I love how you can remove the toys and affix them onto other things you may have around the house (or the car seat, etc). The monkey can sit upright even when it’s not dangling, which I find a great design. Overall, I’m quite pleased. My two-month-old daughter definitely responds to the toys, although gets over-stimulated after awhile. I suspect she’ll grow to love it more over time. Regardless, it’s been great and I can see her taking a liking to some of the toys even beyond the tummy time days.

Our kiddo has been using this playmat for about 5 months; she’s almost 7 months old. What I love most about it is how the different features become more entertaining as her abilities grow. She’s showing no sign of getting bored yet. Because they come on and off so easily, we use the dangly toys everywhere (carseat, highchair, bathtub). The plastic ones are great for her to chew on and easy to wash. The two arches that the toys dangle from are also awesome for baby to hold onto to practice standing or pulling up to sitting. The size is just right too; I use it all over the house, and put a towel or two underneath for extra cushioning when the baby is with me in the kitchen or bathroom. This way she has toys she likes to play with, and I can move about and get things done. The toys and arches come off easily, and the mat is holding up well to machine washing (hand washing is recommended as ‘optimal’ but machine is okay too). For the amount of use that this gets, it’s totally worth .

This is a cute toy. I like the fact that it has a separate pillow to use for propping up your baby. All parts are washable which is great. This toy is entertaining with several ways for playing. Good buy.

My 4 month old loves this! My two and half year old plays car was when the baby isn’t. It is fun to watch baby grab items. Don’t leave child unattended because if the baby kicks the green pole it falls over, many times on baby’s head. It is super soft and my son actually likes to suck on the poles since they are always falling over if not put together properly.

This oh-so-soft cover is the perfect accessory to the amazing SoftSpot. My baby is 5 months old and it is so nice to have a clean spot for him to play on the floor. I love the colors of the gym. I have twins, a boy and girl, and it seems to be right for both of them. I like that the gym arms fold closed just by twisting the button at the top. So I stick the whole thing in the corner of the closet at night. I like that the gym is roomy under the arms. The toys are cute too. My babies tolerate tummy time better when they are on the little pillow. Our home and furnishings are a mix of contemporary and sort of retro. And so this gym fits our personality. Also my son is a real spitter-upper. And I have already unbuckled the mat from the arms and washed it. The colors stayed bright and I just rebuckled the mat to the arms and we were all set again. It’s a good buy.
